At the end of this wonderful video filmed at Croyde Bay in North Devon, you will see a large house called Downend House. We stayed there first week in June from 1991 to 2002.

Yes we certainly walked to Baggy Point and came back via Polly's Pantry for the best cream tea om Devon!

Does anything remain of the whale's jawbone (I think that's what it was, like huge mammoth's tusks) that used to be by the pathway to Baggy Point, about 60/70 years ago?

I wonder who owns Downend house now, it had 8 bedrooms and slept 20, although there were only 3 of us and a dog!

Asa Police Cadet in 1964, a team of us used to do lifesaving on Croyde Bay. Amazing memories.
