Subject: Songs in series please From: Mrrzy Date: 06 Mar 21 - 05:02 PM So, I spend hours helping direct traffic at a vax site. It is boring. So I sing to keep my mind occupied. What I am looking for are ideas for *series* of songs, so I don't have to think so hard about what song to sing next. I am not looking for individual songs that contain series, like Green grow the Rushes-O, or songs that mention many colors or all the seasons etc. Been there, sung those. I have already sung songs that mention: Each day of the week Each month of the year Each cardinal points Each season Weather (fog rain snow etc) Holidays, starting withone mentioning New Year's Day and going thru New Year's Eve Each color, all the shades I could think of [fuchsia, anyone?] All the versions I know of songs I know lots of versions of (hope that makes sense) Songs whose titles start with each letter of the alphabet Songs whose first word starts with each letter ditto So. Any other ideas? I still have months to go, probably. Not each number and going to infinity. I like to do different series! Thank you all! |
