I wrote an essay about Mudcat and other online resources for folkies, but mostly about Mudcat, for a webpage for the Folk Federation of New South Wales. I welcome comments, gushing praise, nominations for literary awards, and so on.

Sandra, I must have written it before the name change. But it looks like the folkfed page accepts comments, so I could mention it, and the spreadsheets, there. Or, you could. If I do it, are you OK with me putting in your email address, so people have a way to contact you for the spreadsheets?

Well done, Gerry!

But who is this Pam Merrigan who seems to be taking the credit??? Are you on probation and they won't let you publish under your own name?

The top has Pam but there is a Gerry by-line. Pam is probably the account holder.

Patty, Pam is the President of the Folk Federation of New South Wales, and she solicited the essay. I don't see where she's taking any credit for writing the essay, and I have no problem with the way it appears on the website.

A few of us take turns presenting Focus On Folk on a local radio station. For a few years, Pam was one of the presenters.

She and her partner Norm are well-known as local performers. She has done her bit for folk music in NSW.

Until last year Pam was Artistic Director of the National Folk Festival for about 8 years & each year was responsible for sifting thru a zillion applications to book 200+ acts, now she coordinates FF NSW.
