Hi there. A friend of mine is looking for the name of this song. I'm not sure if it's a folk song or country/western any help is appreciated.

Here is the first verse:

In a big front room of a big white house by the fire on a cold winters night,
A little boy sat at Momma's knee with his pencil and paper he writes.
Dear Santa Claus, I'm writing to you to tell you I've been a good boy,
And Momma says if I have been good, you'll bring me red wagon and toys.
But Santa Claus my toys are still new. I still have them all with me here.
Please don't bring toys bring this little boy his Daddy for Christmas this year.

This kind of tear jerker has to be country without the western tag. Sorry, don't know it, but this will get it back to the top for another trip down the page. Maybe you will get somewhere this time around.
