Does anybody know/have the lyrics for a song called 'The Star of Tyrone'?
I don't really have any information about who wrote/sang the song.
I just know it exists/existed and that a friend is trying to track it down.
Any help would be much appreciated!

I've never heard the song, but a friend of mine is looking for it.
They heard it years ago.
The song is definitely titled 'The Star of Tyrone'.
It is proving elusive and hard to get any leads on so far.

It seems there was group called The Star of Tyrone (Accordion band) but no leads yet on a song of that name.

can your friend remember anything about the song, like what was the theme, a few words of it, was it a fast song or a slow song - did the tune resemble some other tune s/he could name, etc.
