If I'm not mistaken,
Roy Atwell, the performing artist pictured at that link,
is the comic actor employed by Walt Disney to be
the voice of "Doc"
in "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves."


I was looking up those Dwarves, the actors that is, the other day.
And the story about Roy Atwell is that he got into playing
roles or things where you mispronounce things for comic effect.
It happened because he messed up onstage one evening.

He was supposed to say:
" 'Tis Spring, and all the birds are twittering in the tree tops."

But it came out:

"Is Ting, and all the twits are birdering in the tree flops"

which got an enormous spontaneous laugh from the live audience,
and instead of ruining him,
that laugh became his lucky break into the business.
