hi, a friend of mine is looking for information about a British dance orchestra or band called Bellers, in which her grandfather played violin in the 1930s. (She lives in Canada, as do I.)I did see the relevant Facebook group, but no one has answered.
thanks!

It would help if we knew what area he was based in, yes there were the well known bands that went everywhere but most other bands like my dads worked in and around their own town or city.

If she knew the area a better bet than here would be GFB to see if there was a page for the area for example anything in and around Glasgow I would point them to Lost Glasgow. Again if she knows an area perhaps see if there was a local dancehall or big hotel where they might have played, Local archives might be able to help with that.
