Not sure if Ken posted much on mudcat but much in evidence regarding Stainsby ff, Warwick ff and Sheffield sessions ~ he was a traditional singer and expert on Derbyshire and English folk songs

Will be sadly missed also at Whitby ff where he did regular MCeeing

Remember him from a lot of the Midlands festivals. He was a great personality and a fine singer and MC. RIP

Such sad news.
Had some great times at Beverley F F with ken and Jim McDonald.
He was a lovely guy and will be sadly missed.

Very sad news - I remember Ken from the New Year gatherings at Whitby - always seemed such a nice guy and a great singer RIP

We have a message from Ken's family; There will be a celebration of Ken's life in the New Year, it will involve folk music and morris dancing.
