Subject: Folklore: Murder ballad research From: Juliana Y Date: 11 Nov 21 - 01:48 PM Hi all, My name is Juliana and I'm a folklore grad student currently working on an essay about the use of the first-person perspective in certain murder ballads for a class on folklore and gender. I'm wondering if anyone who has experience performing these songs (especially "Rose Conley") would be willing to speak with me about it for my paper. I'm happy to talk here or over email/in personal messages. I have many academic sources so far, but I'd also be happy to receive recommendations for those as well if you have them. Thank you!
