Subject: Lyr Req: The Older Woman (aka Dave and Rebecca)

I have a snippet of some lyrics that I wrote down YEARS ago (I'm talking about the 80s, probably), and I just re-discovered it. But now I need to know the remaining lyrics, the author and hope to also figure out the melody if I can find it. Here's what I've got:

The older woman is an object of scorn
And suspicion, because of the year she was born.
So Dave and Rebecca were forced to defer
Their wedding, 'til David was older than her.

Or else his relations might comment one day,
"Too bad about Dave, but you know what they say
About older, conniving, experienced women.
Oh, that was some web that she wove to trap him in!"

To age himself faster, Dave worked for success...
High blood pressure, ulcers, insomnia, stress
Living his life the executive way
Took up Scotch, deep fried food, and smoked 3 packs a day.

And that's all I've got! I searched here on "An Older Woman" and "Dave and Rebecca", but had no hits on anything yet in the forum. I'm *thinking* it sounds like it could be Bob Blue, but I'm not sure at all. I am hoping someone on Mudcat will know the song.

Any help finding author and/or lyrics would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance for any leads!
