It's about a teenager buying a used car.

The last four lines are

"Just give me your Nash and fifty
For years of driving fun.
Well, I'm still teen and seven,
But the Edsel's ceased to run."

Gain status among men!"

For years of driving fun!"
Well I'm still but teen and seven,
And the Edsel's ceased to run.
