Hope someone can provide the lyrics for this obscure song called, "Recently Lonesome" by a female American singer named Selah.
It is from her 1972 LP titled, "Sweet William of the West."
She has a beautiful voice!

I can't quite make out that third line in the second verse. The rest I'm pretty sure of.

She sings the chorus slightly different each time. If I were doing it, I would make them the same each time in order to make "even now" in the final chorus more emphatic.

I had the same problem in trying to figure out the lines of the song that you did.
I appreciate your help.
By the way, did you like her voice?
Sort of reminds me of Joan Baez's voice in the 1960's.
