Subject: RE: Owston Ferry folk club From: Backwoodsman Date: 20 Dec 21 - 03:35 AM No, there’s no Owston Ferry Folk Club, although there are/were occasional ‘Open-Mic’ nights at the Crooked Billet, but not sure if they still happen following the Lockdowns. Very much ‘anything goes’. Close to Owston Ferry, The Epworth Folk and Acoustic Club meets every Monday at the Red Lion, start time 7.15pm. It’s a singaround format, with a mixture of folk, blues, and pop usually on the menu. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. |
