Ive learned that Dave Howdon from north East England has sadly passed away. Many on here will be saddened to hear this, he was well known and a friend of many around the North of England Folk Festivals along with his wife Anne and his son Dave Jnr. RIP Dave.

Yes he was very highly regarded around the NE of England and further afield, a lovely guy and a good friend to many of us.
