(her son) blamed the death on a local anti-vax movement, saying its leaders had convinced his mother against vaccination and thus had “blood on their hands”.

“I know exactly who influenced her … It makes me sad that she believed strangers more than her proper family,” Rek said.

“It wasn’t just total disinformation but also views on natural immunity and antibodies acquired through infection,” he added.

I was in Prague at the time of the anti-vaccine protest the article mentioned. We were walking one way along Wenceslas Square to catch the metro home, and met with the protest marching the other way.

I too saw this story on the BBC website and thought much the same as her son is reported as saying. Unfortunately I have heard of a few people who have died through not being vaccinated against Covid and it makes one angry. Such a loss. I have added her name to the "In Memoriam" thread and send my condolences to everyone.

Both sad and angry at this: how misinformation could have led to her being so reckless with her own life, not mention others she might have infected.

Yes very sad.

And I agree with you Tattie Bogle. A person can make a decision about her/his own life and well-being but in this case, other people's lives and well-being are part of that decision.

I keep remembering the people who were interviewed on the news when their time was nearly up, struggling to take each breath and saying that they didn't realise that COVID was so bad otherwise they would have decided to be vaccinated.

It's a misinformation/disinformation pandemic too.

The tune is the same as that of the Scottish Gaelic song "Canan nan Gaidheal"
Indeed Království Keltu translates as "Kingdom of the Celts". Are the words a translation of the Gaelic song?

Assonance didn't play Eastern music music, or at least the three videos I've listened to now on youtube are Kingdom of the Celts, a Czech version of the Twa Corbies to the now usual Breton tune, and a Czech rendition of The Witches of Amesbury.

Reading the BBC article, I see that Hana's husband and son caught Covid despite being vaccinated. She decided not to isolate herself from them. The odd thing is that Hana was feeling better and when she took a turn for the worse and died, it was very sudden. According to the BBC article, her son said she got backached, went to bed, and was dead in 10 minutes from choking.
