Does anyone know if the Pete Seeger postage stamps are out yet to purchase at a post office?
I am NOT interested in buying online but only at the post office itself. I tried calling my local post office where I live in California but not available here.
I don't know if other areas of the country have them yet?

I found lots of reports of the November 2021 press release about the issue of the stamp, but no issue date. All I can find out is that the stamp will be issued in 2022.

Well, I don't know WHEN they hit the marketplace of USPS retail,
but the stamps are out now.
I just bought thirty-two of them.

I like the legend on each stamp:

PETE SEEGER
FOLK SINGER
FOREVER USA

I recently bought 2 books and haven't used too many stamps, so I probably won't be buying another book, though I do admit the Seeger stamps are pretty neat

You can buy them online from the USPS site if you don't want to go into the post office.

I've asked for them at our PO. They sold out on the first day, and sell out whenever they get some more in. I'm going to order some and put them with my Canadian Stan Rogers stamps.

I got one sheet at my local P.O., but she had to rummage around. I don't use stamps a lot, but had to have these.
