Robb Johnson's song Bullingdon Boys cover Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson and his fellowclub member David Cameron amongst others.

My friends and I often add a topical satirical verse to the end of Twankydillo. My most recent effort was possibly too robust for the tender sensibilities of mudcatters though. ;-)

Jim McLean tune: Let's all go down the strand /
                               Ma Maw's a Millionaire.

ME MAW'S A MILLIONAIRE
(Jim McLean)

Who disnae ken his weans?
Boris Johnson.
Who disnae ken their names?
Boris Johnson.
He says he maybe has three or four
Or five or six or mebbe more
He disnae ken his weans.

Who cannae tell the truth?
Boris Johnson.
Who's got the biggest mooth?
Boris Johnson.
He'll help the poor and no' the rich
He said he'd rather die in a ditch
He cannae tell the truth.

Who lives in number 10?
Boris Johnson.
Who wants tae bong Big Ben?
Boris Johnson.
And every stroke tae hit the bell
Will count the lies that Johnson tells
He lives in number ten.

Who thinks that we're a' daft?
Boris Johnson.
Who thinks we're awfy saft?
Boris Johnson.
He tells the world that Indy's deid.....
"Awa' ya mug an bile yer heid!"
He thinks that we're a' daft.

He tells the world that Indy's deid...
"Awa' ya mug an bile yer heid"
He thinks that we’re a’ daft.

I saw a typo the other day calling Boris 'Bris'. I am sure some of our Jewish contributors could do something with that :-D

It's Everybody's Fault But Mine by Arthur Marshall is just one of several anti-Tory songs he has written in the last couple of years.

Not a song, but at least a little rhyme-
A bumbling PM called Boris
Had a party for one hundred tories.
He said,"It's just fine
If you bring your own wine,
'Cos I get to say what the law is."

I'm surprised no-one has done Boris as the three wise monkeys-
Hear no blackmail, see no parties, say no lies.

Robb Johnson has just added 'The Worst Prime Minister in the World' to his Bandcamp page. Seems pretty accurate to me!

My own modest effort...

Party? What Party? I’ll Lie If I Want To
To the tune of It's My Party and I'll Lie If I Want To
new words by Vikki Appleton Fielden, Dec 2021

I held a party in secret last year,
Thought everything would be fine
Some lousy snitch let everyone know,
Now I’m in trouble, big-time!

It’s my party and I’ll lie if I want to,
lie if I want to, lie if I want to
You always knew I was lying to you

Covid 19 had been spreading like mad
’Cos I locked down way too late
Why should I care if old people die?
Saves lots of dough for the state

It’s my party and I’ll lie if I want to...

I told the peasants to cancel their fun,
Lock down and sit in their homes
Then had a spree with vino and cheese
While masses died all alone

It’s my party and I’ll lie if I want to...

There was no party and we broke no rules,
Just wanted colleagues to see
Our new wallpaper and hey, anyway
Rules don’t apply to little me

It’s my party and I’ll lie if I want to...

Can’t understand why you’re all so upset,
Let’s just pretend it’s not true
Please don’t forget to castrate the Met,
Say it’s too old to pursue

It’s my party and I’ll lie if I want to...

Surely 'Stuck in the Middle With You' was written for Johnson and his Cabinet:

'Clowns to the left of me,
Jokers to the right.
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you.'

Rats in the Chamber

by

Angie Wright

Rats in the Chamber snakes in the grass
Parties in the garden whisky in the glass
Leaks from the main pipe holes in the floor
Life on the slide again banging on the door.

Can I add to this my [so far] pathetically useless campaign to have BoJo pronounced Bodge-O?

I thought people who dislike Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson called him Bozo, like the clown?

I sent my (Tory) MP an email asking what he was going to do about that “lying clown” and he wrote me a letter back referring to Boris Johnson. I congratulated him for knowing exactly who I was talking about!

Diolch:

That's half the problem: that particular "class clown" (the term used in another thread, by a teacher who recognises the syndrome) has been using the joke persona as a diversion since he was in school. I refuse to use either B word, on the grounds that doing so makes him sound harmlessly cuddly. He's not harmless.

I'd better stop there before my keyboard catches fire.

Meanwhile, back at the subject ....

Macho Macho Man (Village People)

.... though that could apply to Vlad as well, possibly more so.

It's now a matter of record that de Pfeffel sang "I will survive" at certain newbies to Number Ten. He'd previously been caught singing "Waltzing Matilda" along the corridor, around the time he was blethering about "Australian-style" deals, but presumedly he remembered (or was reminded) what happens to the protagonist of that song.

I think the Beatles got it right

I’m a Loser - The Beatles
I'm a loser
I'm a loser
And I'm not what I appear to be

What have I done to deserve such a fate?
I realize I have left it too late
And so it's true pride comes before a fall
I'm telling you so that you won't lose all

political leader = oxymoron

Voyager:

Good --- someone else has spotted that. What our alleged leaders do isn't leading: it's "following from the front". I've observed that with every cat we've been staff to at feeding time, where they lead the person with the food to their habitual eating place.

And now for another sacrifice to the Subject line: most of the contents of Substitute (The Who[m]'s second single iirc), eg:

My blue suede shoes really made out of sack
