Subject: Great IRISH War Pipes From: Rapparee Date: 26 Apr 22 - 06:39 PM Yes, I have searched the Forum. I was asked just today what the Great IRISH Warpipes looked like. I emphasize Irish because the person asking did. Did they have blowpipes? Or use the armpit bellows other Irish pipes use? How many drones and chanters? No, I don't know the reason for the question as the asker was an Afghan refugee. |

Much of what's written about them derives from Grattan Flood, who could write utter bollocks with unmatched confidence. Definitely mouthblown anyway. |
