Afternoon all.
I thought you could perhaps help me out. After seeing Made in the Great War in Shipley in 2016 (I think), one bit kept coming back to me, and still is, years later. I think it was presented as a West African folktale (???) about a warrior who comes back from the dead because his youngest son remembers him. The story was told with a great deal more style and pathos than I've given it here.
Anyone else remember the story? Have any sources for it?
