Well, they don't have to be about bagpipes, but they do have to mention bagpipes in the lyrics.
Google seems to want to give me songs accompanied by bagpipes like "Mull Of Kintyre" or "Amazing Grace".

Subject: RE: Lyr Add - Piper on the Hilltop - John Warner
From: Sandra in Sydney
Date: 26 Sep 22 - 01:29 AM

PIPER ON THE HILLTOP, John Warner (1989) 42 second audio snippet from Who Was there? John's second CD with Margaret Walters, recorded in 1997.

John was moved by the unexpected sound of bagpipes being played near the Spence shops in Belconnen near Canberra. The moment was climaxed by a dramatic summer thunderstorm rising over the Brindabella Range, an outcrop of the Snowy Mountains. A 'pibroch' is a traditional bagpipe air serving as a call to battle or a lament.

It's a hot December evening
And there's herald of a change
In the mighty clouds that roll across
The Brindabella Range.

There's a piper on the hilltop
By the supermarket square,
And his pibroch falls like sunset clouds
Above the city air.

The chattering of kids at play,
The sullen roar of cars
The thunder of a jet plane's flight
Above the rising stars.

I sit beside my window
And I listen to the town
And an aching air, an old lament,
Like mist comes drifting down.

Then Spence gives way to Glencoe,
Bonny Charlie's at Dunbar,
And the 'Flowers of the Forest,'
They all are gone awa'

A breeze disturbs the silent leaves,
Rolling thunder brings the change
With the pibroch for Belconnen Town
By the Brindabella Range

Oh the girls from the Bawnóg
In sorrow may retire
And the piper and his bellows
may go home and blow the fire

I like the line in Ron Kavana’s Irish Ways, which lists all the things that make Ireland special for him:

“A piper alone, unaware of a stranger’s attention.”

The Cow ate the Piper (Irish) should get it by Googling.

Donald was a PIPER, A 14-18 PIPER. (Scots) as sung by Ian (jock) Manuel.

I remember Kevin Burke singing this in London in the early 70s when he was just a wee slip of a boy.
I imagine "packtoe" and "gateau" are misunderstandings of Gaelic words. Anyone have an idea what they might be?

The Hole In The Pipers Bag

Mrs. Gilhooley gave a good party one night
She invited us all to attend.
We gathered a gang, jumped down to her house
A few pleasant hours for to spend.

There was Duffy and Charlie and Flynn and meself
Well, a crowd wasn't hard for ta find,
But the t'ing most important we almost forgot
We near' left the piper behind.

We invited him down to the party
He brought his bagpipe just by chance
We asked him to sing, but he says,"Ah, no,
But I'll play yuz a a bit of a dance."

He picked up his pipes, he started to play
Some one got to foolin' about
And cut a great hole in the bag of his pipes
And here is the tune that came out:

Naaaaa, needeleedelum needeligh needeleedeleedel
num nee nigh daloh dalah daleedeleedel
lumdeeligh daligh daloh dadeedeleedel
dalumdeeligh dalohdaleedeleedeligh

When the piper found out that his bag it was cut
Sure he gave a great leap on the floor
And he slipped about in a quick hammer style
And he landed him under the jaw

Mrs. Levi, she fainted, they all made a rush
Trying to get out of the door
But the piper had nine of them takin' the count
And he swore he would lick twenty more.

Well, if ever ya go to a party
Ah, you'd better keep this in your mind
Don't get vexed with a piper
For you'll find him a gentleman kind

But if trouble should start keep out of his way
For he carries an awful packtoe
Ah, you won't hear it comin' but whoop when it lands
Sure, you'll know it's an Irish gateau.

call to battle
Why did I read that as "call to cattle?" Conjures up some intriguing images.

Donald was a piper, hey for-a-haddie
Hey for-a-hoo, for a-hey for a-haddie
Ho for-a-hum, for a hey for-a-haddie
Edinburgh, Musselburgh, Aberdeen-a-haddie
Hoochan dochan hoochan dochan, hoochan dochan- ay

chorus of a mainly spoken song the 'Daft Piper' roughly translated from the old Davie Stewart version. I never heard Ian Manuel do it, but RAB Collinson, stalwart of TMSA festivals certainly does a great job of it
             -tune- the 'Drunken Piper'

Many thanks for all of the suggestions. The only one I could think of was "Danny Boy" and I wanted to avoid it. I only needed one song and I really liked the John Warner song PIPER ON THE HILLTOP, so that's the one I've learned.
Thank you so much Sandra in Sydney.

Jim Bainbridge's post above reminds me of the evening decades ago at Elsie's Folk Club in Cowden Pound. He was singing The Daft Piper learned from our mutual hero Davy Stewart and was singing the chorus he has written out but he didn't sing the last line so it was my voice that rang out -
Hoochan dochan hoochan dochan, hoochan dochan- ay

- and I was puzzled that I was the only ons singing. Jim laughed so much it was a while before he could finish the song,

Could I add the song written by Mary Brooksbank which I have seen with three or four different titles but which goes: -
As I cam by Strathmartine Mains
Wha dae ye think I seen
But a braw young piper laddie cam
A-linkin ower the green

Chorus (after each verse):
Singin, Hey Donal, Ho Donal
Dirrum a doo a day

He played a reel, an he played a jig
An he played a sweet strathspey
He roosed ma hairt till the beat kept time
Tae the tappin o my tae

Oh I've nae gowd tae offer ye
For I've gaithered little gear
But we'll hae love an freedom
Gin ye'll follow me my dear

There's gowd in the broom o the Sidlaw Hills
Honey frae the heather sweet
There's a speckled troot in the purlin tarn
A velvet carpet 'neath oor feet

Syne he blew up his chanter
An sic a spring he plays
That I chose love an freedom
Now ah wander a' my days

PHJim - I love pipes & the only time I've ever avoided them was when John & Margaret launched their album waaaay back last century

It was at our folk club, in the upstairs Hall of a late 19th century sandstone & wood Town Hall.

The Piper on the hilltop was waiting in the porch for his cue & walked across the hall then down the stairs, but I'd jumped into the kitchen & closed the door having heard the practice across the perfect acoustic room & down the equally perfect acoustic staircase.

Another lovely memory was being part of a New Years Eve crowd following a pipe band thru the dimly lit Botanic Gardens as they headed for their bus.

Long Johnnie More, you could have avoided further references to the same song by clearly describing your YouTube links, e.g.

True - or people could have taken the time to look at them. But I take your point, and will be more accurate in the future if similar situations arise.

Yes, the first one that came to my mind was “The Piper and the Maker”: great song.
But agree with Reinhard’s point about posting the name of the song as well as the link: or you can put the song title into your link when setting it up.
