Friday 4th November. Shanties and rum promotion event at West London Trades Union Club in Acton, West London. Doors open 7pm, maritime set for about half hour by yours truly, reading of dispatches by Lord Collingwood, followed by splicing the mainbrace and traditional naval toast, and from about 9pm the floor will be open to anyone who wants to sing a shanty or sea song or perform a recitation. Late Licence. Anyone who is interested, drop my an email on my mudcat link and I will provide address and directions. WLTUC is a members club with cheaper beer than most London pubs.
