This is basically The White Rose, as made famous by Nana Mouskouri, but I am looking for the recording that has these lyrics.

Hmmm. I'm not finding your version.

Here's Nana singing "The White Rose of Athens":https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5-6UQD4wL8

And here's Daniel O'Donnell & Mary Duff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nhkkn4_-Q_E

And Virginia Lee: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udsTwRL0iC4

THE WHITE ROSE OF ATHENS

Till the white rose blooms again
You must leave me, leave me lonely
So goodbye my love till then
Till the white rose blooms again

The summer days are ending in the valley
And soon the time will come when we must be apart
But like the rose that comes back with the spring time
You will return to me when spring time comes around

Till the white rose blooms again
You must leave me, leave me lonely
So goodbye my love till then
Till the white rose blooms again
Till the white rose blooms again
You must leave me, leave me lonely
So goodbye my love till then
Till the white rose blooms again

Goodbye till then
Goodbye till then
Goodbye till then

Another version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Z6WZHgImsA

THE WHITE ROSE OF ATHENS

So goodbye my love till then
Till the white rose blooms again

The summer days are ending in the valley
And soon the time will come when we must be apart
Now you must start you journey to the sailing
And leave me till another spring-time comes around

Till the white rose blooms again
You must leave me, leave me lonely
So goodbye my love till then
Till the white rose blooms again

Till the white rose blooms again
You must leave me, leave me lonely
So goodbye my love till then
Till the white rose blooms again

The cotton leaves are falling in the valley
And soon the winter snow will lie on the ground
But like the rose that comes back with the springtime
You will return to me when springtime comes around

Till the white rose blooms again
You must leave me, leave me lonely
So goodbye my love till then
Till the white rose blooms again

Goodbye till then
Goodbye till then
=====================
Weiße Rosen aus Athen sagen Dir: "Komm recht bald wieder.",
sagen Dir: "Auf Wiederseh'n!"

sagen Dir: "Auf Wiederseh'n!"

sagen Dir: "Auf Wiederseh'n!" - weiße Rosen aus Athen.
Weiße Rosen blueh'n an Bord in der weiten, weiten Ferne,
blueh'n fuer Dich allein so schoen - weiße Rosen aus Athen.

Auf Wiederseh'n! Auf Wiederseh'n! Auf Wiederseh'n!

This makes me very sad. When my sister's husband died suddenly at the age of 36, leaving her with two young babies, this song was popular. She decided to plant a white rose on his grave in their village churchyard in Scotland, and every time the rose blooms, she thinks of this song. Her husband's parents were from Yorkshire, so the white rose was appropriate for them too.
