MUDCAT access problems

Over the last couple of months I have very often been unable to get on to Mudcat. Instead I get a screen message telling me that the site is temporarily unavailable with the suggestion that it may hve been taken down for necessary work to be done on it. When I can get on and try to do a search for a topic using the Lyrics & Knowledge Search for the Forum and DT I have frequently had the message "The web site you are accessing has experienced an unexpected error. Please contact the website administrator. " Are there prolbems at Mudcat HQ which explain these things?

Hi, Geoff - yeah, we've had problems for most of the year. Max is working on it. We now have a couple of volunteers who can reboot Mudcat when Max isn't available, and that may help.

I can usually find anything from Mudcat in a cache somewhere, and I'm pretty quick about responding.
