Gentle Colleagues,

'Tis the season, and with that a BRAND spanking new box set collection I'm producing, which will be announced in the fullness of time!

I'm seeking any information about the family of Ray & Ina Patterson, regular performers from the San Diego Folk Festivals from way back when. They kept an archive of black and white photography of these events which would be very helpful.

Thanking you in advance for any information!

Recordially Yours,

Deborah Robins

Well, the Internet Archive has a couple of albums they recorded:

Old Time Ballads and Hymns https://archive.org/details/lp_old-time-ballads-and-hymns_ray-ina-patterson

Old Time Songs, Vol 2 https://archive.org/details/lp_old-time-songs-volume-2_ray-ina-patterson

Their Songs of Home and Childhood Volume 3 is on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51X6d8bFlXU Note that these records were on the County Records label. County Records just might be able to help you with estate information.

I'm thinking this might be the right people: https://nuwber.com/person/563a91607686b0176b81492a. This address is in Colorado Springs. In 1984, they lived in Woodland Park, Colorado.

There's a very nice interview of Ray & Ina at the very end of this document: https://barryrwillis.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/01Roots-for-ipage.pdf
