Subject: RE: Obit: UK cartoonist Bill Tidy (1933-2023) From: Dave the Gnome Date: 13 Mar 23 - 07:05 AM I loved the Cloggies and the Fosdyke Saga. My early working career always saw me with a copy of the Daily Mirror spread out at dinner time and I am sure thet were both in that but Wiki tells me the Cloggies were in Private Eye. Ah well. Just shows how memory plays tricks on you! RIP Mr Tidy. Part of my passage into aldulthood! |

Grimbledon Down was brilliant & in later years I've spent time reading thru his cartons & will do a google search in his memory! RIP |
