I have been shut out of Mudcat for well over a month now, will the mods please explain why?

Your account is in good standing. It may be your IP address has been too broadly blocked due to spam activity in a related IP. Open your Browser and type in "What is my IP address" and post it - we'll take a look (and remove that post when the look has been taken.) ---mudelf

Mudcat has been up and down a bit recently, but if you find that it's only letting you post as 'Guest' you just need to go to the 'membership' page (Last but 1 link on the home page)
It's likely that at some point you've either changed your device, or your device has recommended 'clear cookies' and your 'remembered' log-in has been deleted.
