We're looking for the music of the play 'Dark of the moon', which uses slightly changed versions of traditional Irish, Scottish and American folk songs. If anyone knows the melody for a song called 'John Williams', or where to find recordings or a score, please let us know. Other songs we are looking for could be called 'Smokey mountain corn' and 'Up on Old Baldy', but they could also have a different name, as we've only seen the lyrics and not the title. "Ballad of John Williams" is in the Digital Tradition database HERE . Is that the one? Its a (great) modern song - written by Johnny McEvoy.
