I am back accommodation Friday to Friday!
Weather ok hills make for a great workout ~ Con club (sorry) decently priced sandwiches and tea/coffee ~ pubs heaving and overpriced, manic sessions (no not me missus) traditional base as ever with entertaining guests etc ~musicians well catered for
2024 is next year ~ hopefully

Ray

A family bereavement sadly cut short my time there but I enjoyed the mega singaround in the Friendship club on Tuesday and the Morris dancing by the arch on Wednesday morning. I would also recommend the Folly Gardens camp site. Lovely spot and close to town. Not much by way of facilities but even, easy pitches and plenty of room.

Yes the Friendship Club is a large room accessible from Church Street and probably wheelchair friendly ~ popped in one night to see and was a steady night away from the packed pubs with room for an audience

I thought there were a lot more people here this year, the Rugby Club camp site was full. There were singarounds and sessions in Rifle Club, Friendship club, Station hotel all day till 2am, Fleece till 2am, Endeavour, Black Horse front and back room and no doubt others. I enjoyed them all and enjoyed meeting new people and hearing sharing songs. Glad to see it still going strong and there were younger people in abundance too which is encouraging.
