Evolution has given us minds that allow us adaptive perceptions but it does not allow us to see reality or the truth. This is why people can easily be misled. Adaptive perceptions are good for survival and reproduction but hide the truth of physical reality.
Our cosmological assumptions grow out of our evolutionary perceptions and are usually wrong. Even spacetime is a human artifact and not a truth. This will always keep human science off balance. New physics will go in geometric dimensions that often defy human consciousness.
We give ourselves a couple basic assumptions and build on that.
We have to see beyond spacetime, the speed of light, and 10 to the minus 33 centimeters. Going beyond conceptual understanding is very hard or impossible. AI is great at coding but having it see beyond itself may not work. Things that break our rules like magic are the inroads that may lead to a new physics. Are 86 billion neurons enough to do that? Goedel's theory of limitation might be right or in 100 years scientists will laugh and mock our current level of understanding.

After 11 people were killed at abortion clinics. Clinton created the FACE Act, which prevented attacks on clinics with police protection.
Trump's Justice Dept. has reversed the FACE Act and Trump has pardoned 10 people for attacking abortion clinics.
Technically Trump has not legalized murder, he has only removed protection from murder. Promises kept. Looking the other way are the new rules.

Owning and punishing the Libs is a SOP Trump strategy.
However many of the freedom-killing rules affect not just Libs but all Americans. This won't change the mind of the young but older Americans will feel the difference. There will be a crossed threshold when the harassment intimidation, and fear tactics of death threats turn to murder as it did with the pardoned brown shirts of Hitler.

Outlawing diversity in the USA by Executive Order is ephemeral and reversible compared to Congressional law. Besides it is not something that ceases to exist by command.
As for the cabinet and agency heads picked by Trump, most of them are not based on merit while DEI is. Meanwhile, financial segregation is now the law of the land.

It should be evident that my claim that the US civil war has never ended is true. "With malice toward none' ended with the assassination of Lincoln. Reconstruction did see several blacks win political office but the massacres and riots continued in Iowa, Florida, and many other states. The KKK continues today. Not even WWII ended segregation and violence.
Race riots in the north continued at the turn of the century. Many police departments continue to maim and murder those of diverse races continuing through the George Floyd days. These Trump years are seeking to undo Lyndon Johnson's Civil Rights Act as well as claiming diversity equity and inclusion are to be reversed. Trump is revered as the great white supremacy hope.

Oligarchy is deeply entrenched and is not likely to change. It costs a lot to run for Congress, generally in the millions of dollars. And more money for seats that are more competitive or populated. I assume the average mudcatter has less than 100 million dollars of disposable funds. So most people would have to align themselves with a billionaire or follow the Trump regime. There are a couple of exceptions for poor people who become House Congress people.

'What appears to us' is an important concept. If you were near enough to a black hole to significantly slow down time you would not feel anything different but to an outside observer you would be seen to slow down significantly.

Now imagine the opposite occurring with our video of a UFO. We may be seeing a sped-up version, while the ufo pilots don't feel anything different regarding speed or time. Perhaps you see what I am getting at. If not, forget about it.

There are some obvious things that don't need to be put in words.

Time may rotate like a spiral with some dimensionality. Thats my wild guess. The math for that could be Hamiltonian ijk imaginary numbers.
Its all beyond my ken. Just like matter tells spacetime how to curve, gravity could tell time how to move. We/I don't even know if time has any granular structure or if it is a basic force.

Time has questions to answer that's for sure. As for our own time, scientists have found 2 genes that can reset the age of a cell. Its been decades since we found the 4 genes that transforms any cell into a stem cell.
Doing this one cell at a time to live longer is not practical.
But there is progress and telomeres to consider. Aging may not be what we have accepted it to be.

If you really want to bend your brain, start looking into quaternions. They can't be used as-is to describe spacetime*, but I've read recently that they can describe the sort of gyroscope which doesn't suffer gimbal lock.

* I once got lost in a book on relativity which used quaternions instead of tensors. I don't know what happened to that author either.

I like the relativistic explanation of time, but I suspect there is a missing morsel yet to be discovered that would allow an external control of time to some unknown degree. I suspect it will not be the tachyon.

The first was to realise that time is a machine-based measure, which we humans use to estimate the speed of our personal Nows, though it's a poor estimator when one is bored. Second: Now has a nonzero duration,* which varies from about a fraction of a second to something like a century. At the long end, Now starts tailing off into Then; at the short end, we see things like "too many things happening at once", or "What is it *now*?"

Eventual answer to Sir Pterry: Now doesn't travel at the speed of light, nor at the speed of time, but at the speed of surprise.

.... Many years later, I thought to ask an astrophysicist. He thought for a moment, then said: "It's one way of looking at spacetime in Special Relativity. It's an oldie but goody question, "Does time have more than one linear dimension"?

Mass and energy have more than one dimension. Space has more than one dimension but time only has one? Maybe time dimensions are invisible to us like the full spectrum of light is invisible to our eyes.

We always say that causality is proof that there is just one time dimension, but not in the quantum realm where there can be more than one state at a time. The other thing that seems to violate one dimension of time are the flight and acceleration aspects of UFOs that defy 'our' physics.

Sometimes the only way to learn what is possible is to go beyond the possible and venture into the impossible.

The Amy Adams movie 'Arrival' deals with this conundrum in a remarkable way.

Trump is probably the greatest waste of time for human consciousness.
When AI was asked about the missing Santa story it did not let on that there is no such entity. Was AI keeping the secret or was it fooled?

If you stood on the moon the Earth will never appear to rise.
Because the moon makes two tidal bulges on a spinning Earth the bulge
is slightly ahead of the moon causing it to be pulled faster resulting in the moon going farther away by 5 inches a year. This also slows the spin of the Earth ever so slightly.

Newton's gravity laws work everywhere in the observable universe except in regions of super gravity like black holes. Thats where Einstien works best. E=MC2 shows how mass and energy can be transformed into each other. At the singularity Einstiens equation doesn't work but I speculate that it is where energies exist to transform matter and energy into space fabric and not a white hole.

Here on Earth we have mammals that evolved the ability to see inside surfaces with biosonar. This might be a kind of normal ability of 4 or 5 dimensional extraterrestrial communication or senses.
