When UFOs are tracked underwater by submarines, they are moving at 800 mph. They are commonly called fast movers or jellyfish since they are silent.

The UFO speeds we see are deceiving. A technology that warps space like a black hole could punch in and out of normal space, appearing to make immediate right-hand turns or travel great distances from its last location. Inside the warped field, there would be no movement or inertia. The fine tuning of bending space is phenomenal for some UAPs and different for UFOs that are triangles compared to the tic tacs.
This kind of navigation is the opposite of propulsion of pushing mass. It is more like pushing space. A partial engagement of space warping would appear to be linear travel. A full punching out of normal space would be like disappearing.

There is testimony that the one and only time the US went to defcon 1 was in response to a UFO - aircraft carrier interaction. When all communication was lost with the US convoy, the worst was feared.

The Navy calls them fast movers. The water is said to be repelled/displaced by a USO field. Intuitively, I would expect the opposite but my intuition is often stupid.

Expanding UAE as "Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena" covers both cases; change the A to "Aquatic" or "Aerial" to taste, without breaking the acronym. (Info from the UFO page on Wikipedia, which helpfully adds "Not to be confused with Unidentified Submerged Object", but fails to mention United Arab Emirates.)

I still get odd looks when I say that air is a fluid. ("Not to be confused with liquid", quoth Wikipedia, so ner.)

The grand daddy of all glacial collapses are the badlands out west.
Switzerland had one this week but had warnings with no loss of human life. There are dozens of potential glacial collapses looming.
