The fiddle tunes used here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vByJuVHFPK4&list=PLofKYC6TXgl32iV8Uwl69hjT8wY3HFH_S&index=12 I have figured as 24:25: "Turkey in the Straw," 25:25: "Soldier's Joy," and 26:42: "Cotton-Eyed Joe." The one at 26:01 is REALLY FAMILIAR, but I can't come up with the title. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I used the filter search box (directly under the donate icons) using "Daniel Boone" as the search term and setting the days to 90 and there are six other threads asking to identify different tunes from the show.

I crosslinked all the threads on the Daniel Boone TV series - you'll see the links up top. You can link to a point on a YouTube video by right-clicking at the point you want to talk about and selecting "copy video URL at current time." So, 26:01 is https://youtu.be/vByJuVHFPK4?t=1561.

I think the tune is Don't You Want to Go to Heaven, Uncle Joe? Hope that helps.

That's right.

And the McLeod tune is often called "Hop High, Ladies" or "Hop Light, Ladies." Even in one case in South Carolina, "Hamburg Ladies."

Miss McLeod is really one of the most well-known and widely circulated reels.Scottish in origins it's popular all over Ireland, England, the US and Canada. Taking on different names and different forms in various places, adapted to different styles and uses as it travelled. But always unmistakably Miss McLeod.

No doubt, as you would expect of a tune so well travelled. What meant was that, as in the tune Joe posted it may morph into an old timey tune it is still unmistakably Miss McLeod's, whatever name you stick on it.

I tried "Miss McLeod's Reel" on a YouTube video before asking, but the guy played it so weird I thought it was another tune. I have tried a couple other versions and that's what it is, thanks.

I really don't ask about every song I hear on "Daniel Boone" because many I either recognize or can find for myself, but I appreciate the occasional help here.
