That's excellent. Alan was a good man and a fine songwriter. Like myself, I'm not sure he ever found quite the audience.

He tried hard and gave his talent unstintingly to the folk/acoustic movement, and as such he deserves our respect.

Three years ago today, we lost my old mate and former musical partner of many years, Alanabit, AKA Alan Moorhouse, to cancer. Alan will be fondly remembered by many Catters, as he spent a lot of time here.

I don't know if anyone here is aware, but he released four albums during the last decade and a half of his life. I've uploaded them to his posthumous Bandcamp page at alanmoorhouse.bandcamp.com and have priced them all at just 5 GBP each (plus whatever Bandcamp and the UK government will require in commission and tax, respectively). I manage the page but any proceeds will go to Alan's daughter. I've also set them up so people can listen before deciding to part with any cash.
