Subject: RE: Leaving Mudcat too From: Martin _Ryan Date: 26 Jan 00 - 08:19 PM I don't care whether I appear as a GUEST or not - as long as I feel welcome - and act accordingly. Regards |
Subject: RE: Leaving Mudcat too From: leprechaun Date: 27 Jan 00 - 03:09 AM I was gone for a long time with mucho trabajo, broken computer and an Irish Wake. I missed all the unpleasantness with the imposters. When I returned yesterday, I saw the GUEST designation and my big fear was somebody else might appropriate my nickname, which I cherish dearly. Gone so long I forgot my password, but Max or Joe fixed me up within a day. Glad to be back. By the way, back in the real world, the Oregon legislature just made identity theft a crime. |
Subject: RE: Leaving Mudcat too From: MudGuard Date: 27 Jan 00 - 04:16 AM Don't let Max and Joe run for the White House!!! If they are there, they serve only the Americans, but if they stay here, they serve MudCatters around the world! MudGuard |
Subject: Cookies From: Joe Offer Date: 27 Jan 00 - 05:32 PM Notice that Max said he has seen every problem imaginable problem. So have I. Solving them is another matter... I've got a standard e-mail message worked up now, and it gives step-by-step instructions for logging on. It seems to work pretty well, without getting too. If you encounter difficulties that aren't covered by the standard procedures, be sure to let us know. Actually, maybe it's better to let me know or post it in the Help Forum, since Max usually knows all this stuff already because he created Mudcat to work the way it does - I'm the one who's trying to learn things. -Joe Offer, happy to see Mike Billo back- |
