I have the first verse of an old Irish song which is

Dowdens and Wheelers and Pophams a score..
All weavers and dyers – a terrible bore

If anyone knows the resent of the lyrics, and the tune, please let me know. it would be much appreciated as Im working on a family history story.

That's all I found, too, this one intriguing couplet quoted in a book called "The History of Bandon" (page 342)
