I've also got a copy of 'A Womans Heart 2' album which has some very fine tracks on it. I've tried in vain to get 'A Womans Heart 1' if there is such an album ? any clues ?

Ritchie, there is indeed an album called "A Woman's Heart." Infact, you might say it is THE album. It is the currently the most popular, and highest-selling Irish album of all time. A pure classic. Hmmm...it's strange that you can't find it, with it being super popular, and all.

Thanks, all. I do have the lyrics, but was wondering about chords. In the Emmylou version, there's a chord change. I know it isn't difficult, as chord progressions go, except that my present body of knowledge doesn't include chord changes much. so, if anyone has already gotten this figured out, I'm not too proud ...

Mbo, thanks -- I do b'leeve I'll go order a copy of that CD right now. Sounds wonderful. So if I have to choose one or the other, go for the first one rather than #2?

I'll work on finding those chords--I'm not sure how similar the Dolores Keane and the Emmylou Harris version are, but I'll try. You won't regret buying those albums. Their REALLY good. Especially the song "A Woman's Heart." Good stuff.

God bless the UK customs,because I won't. My better half has finally decreed that I buy no more CD's on the internet.Apart from the fact that I tend to sneak them past her and fail to pay my visa I also get 'stung' by the Royal Mail and have to pay custom duty, which makes it somewhat expensive.

I'm going to search for 'a womans heart' but don't tell the wife.

Believe me, Ritchie, the ease of online shopping for CDs and books is a vastly mixed blessing. Sometimes I'll get a package from Amazon.com in my mailbox and I'll think, "Hmmm. I wonder what THIS is." I have no recollection of having ordered anything. Then I open it and say, "Oh, yeah. I actually DID NEED another Pablo Casals CD."

I have so few vices, but this one definitely is taking its place in the vice-pantheon. Good thing I don't have a mate to be fretting me over the Visa bill, because it's definitely growing fatter on my music and book addiction.

Meanwhile, I'm very much looking forward to those two "Heart of a Woman" CDs.

Let me know if you want me to send you a tape. You know, just until you can buy your own stuff...Shhh.

Well, MBO, et al,

I did get these two CDs and have spent the past couple of days listening to each several times on my drive down to Denver and back for a conference. They are way up at the top of my all-time favorite music list now, and I have already picked several I have to learn. ("Trouble in the Fields," "Sonny," "Living in these Troubled Times" "Western Highway" --- well, I could just go on and on...)
