Rap, the word psychic is an abbreviation of what I should call the superiority of the unconscious mind having agency over our consciousness. We could even call it informed luck. This ability can be inherited from one or two generations ago, along with memories.
This has been proven scientifically.

I suspect it may even apply to future events. My grandmother spoke about global climate change on many occasions. My decisions are often misinterpreted when all I am doing is protecting people from harm or loss.

Having this kind of luck is normal for most of us. Some of us simply listen to this more than others.

I've been tinkering with bits and pieces of broken sprinklers. The summer heat has resulted in pulling out a lot of previous models to test and some failed. One telescoping model (with three arms that twirl on top) failed when the hose connector broke off, but I had a base from a different type that I took apart and married the two. My telescoping sprinkler now has a much more solid base (the old one was a spike in the ground that would tip if the ground got too muddy).

Low tech stuff, but something that will make the rest of this awful summer a little easier to deal with.

I hope Pat enjoys those quilts; she should also travel to New England to get a look at Ken Burns' quilt collection.

I have too.
It was the one and so far only time I was called on for jury duty.
The defendant was facing criminal charges of abusing his children,
and he was in the courtroom for the voir dire phase.
I felt it instantly.
By the way, I was dismissed from the case, and a good thing too,
because I dissociated due to the stress.
