Subject: RE: Ukraine fundraiser Edinburgh Sat 14 June From: Chris Wright Date: 10 Jun 25 - 06:13 AM I also wanted to mention that this will be the first time Lucy and I have performed together in about 8 years! We'll be presenting all new songs, potentially with a view to a (dare I utter the words!) new album... Be good to see you if you can make it! |
Subject: RE: Ukraine fundraiser Edinburgh Sat 14 June From: GUEST,Steve Shaw Date: 10 Jun 25 - 10:03 AM Have a good 'un! Unfortunately #1, we live hundreds of miles away, and, unfortunately #2, we'll be playing that very afternoon to raise money for the repair of Marhamchurch village hall here in Cornwall. We can't claim the kind of illustrious lineup that you can, but we are only charging £12 AND you get a cream tea into the bargain! There are plenty of good fights to be fought and yours is one of the best. Have a great day! |

Subject: RE: Ukraine fundraiser Edinburgh Sat 14 June From: Chris Wright Date: 11 Jun 25 - 11:57 AM Hi Mick, No. Spiders for Ukraine make camo nets for shelters and evac vehicles: https://www.spiders4ukraine.org.uk/ Chris |
Subject: RE: Ukraine fundraiser Edinburgh Sat 14 June From: mayomick Date: 12 Jun 25 - 09:19 AM You say that Spiders for Ukraine make camo nets for “shelters and evac vehicles” . But the Spiders for Ukraine link below says that you make protective nets for Ukrainian forces “fighting on the frontline.” Your Spiders for Ukraine organisation is making military webbing for use in the war against Russia . https://themashhouse.co.uk/event/spiders-for-ukraine-2/ You will likely be aware that there is an asymmetrical military campaign currently being waged by Ukraine and its allies against Russia under the name "Operation Spider’sweb" and that a passenger train derailed by Ukrainian Operation -Spider’sweb.saboteurs in western Russia last Saturday, killed at least seven civilians and injured 30. Is the Spiders for Ukraine organisation a registered charity ? |
Subject: RE: Ukraine fundraiser Edinburgh Sat 14 June From: Chris Wright Date: 12 Jun 25 - 11:13 AM Well, I never thought I'd see useful idiot Mick Wallace on Mudcat! Thanks for encouraging me to support Spiders for Ukraine even more, Mick. |
Subject: RE: Ukraine fundraiser Edinburgh Sat 14 June From: mayomick Date: 12 Jun 25 - 12:39 PM You want to support war against Russia even more than you already do with your camo weaving. So what do you plan next to help the Zelenski regime - get edinburgh knitting swastika socks maybe ?The latest thing in Kiev https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=45c8bf4228d081b3&rlz=1C1VDKB_enIE1075IE1075&q=swastika+socks&udm=2&fbs=AIIjpHx4nJjfGojPVHh |
Subject: RE: Ukraine fundraiser Edinburgh Sat 14 June From: Chris Wright Date: 12 Jun 25 - 03:12 PM On the plus side, Mick, the ruble is under such strain now, you'll have plenty of those notes to wipe not just your tears but your arse as well. And since your fascist pals are having their arses handed to them by the Ukrainians too, there'll be even more blood-money to fill your pockets. |
Subject: RE: Ukraine fundraiser Edinburgh Sat 14 June From: mayomick Date: 13 Jun 25 - 10:55 AM you had a big success in Iran last night as well, I see ! The drones used to attack Israel and the UK's enemy in the Middle East built in Iran itself - very much like how you did it in Russia . Undeniably a professional Spidersweb-style job . You will be hold a fundraiser for the people of Iran once you get rid of their government |
Subject: RE: Ukraine fundraiser Edinburgh Sat 14 June From: mayomick Date: 13 Jun 25 - 11:06 AM after Iran once you get rid of Putin , you can hold a fundraiser for the people of Russia . I'm sure one of Scotland’s very best stringed instrument players and singers will provide his services . |
