Yet another, and I promise this one will be the last one today. Tomorrow, however, could be another story! Thanks in advance, as always.

Storms Never Last, do they Baby? Can't even think at the moment who did it. Best I can do is move it back to the top for you.

The only song along this line I know is "This Storm Shall Surely Pass," recorded by Alan Fraser and Daisy DeBolt some 20 or 30 years ago. It mentions, "this house seems so dark and empty, I need your company, I cannot stand alone." Ring a bell?

I finally thought of at least one recording. It was by Dottsy (Brodt, but her last name was seldom used) on her Sweetest Thing album from 1976. I couldn't find it though, I was only able to locate her Trying To Satisfy You album from 1979.

Check this out at Cowpie, by Jennings and Colter ~~ chords included. It is the same song I mentioned, but I never heard their version, just the one by Dottsy ~~ no one has ever accused me of liking what is popular.

STORMS NEVER LAST
As recorded by Dottsy, 1975

CHORUS: Storms never last, do they, baby?
Bad times all pass with the wind.
Your hand in mine steals the thunder,
And your love makes the sun want to shine.

I followed you down so many roads, baby,
Picked wildflowers, and sung you soft sad songs,
And every road you took, I know, your search was for the truth,
And the clouds brewing now won't be the last.

CHORUS TWICE
