Hey all, I have been playing for years off and on. I mostly just noodle around with my same old original things. I am looking for some standard tunes that would go well around the campfire with some good brew. Any tips or resources would be appreciated. Thanky kindly.

Sorry, thought this was a lyric request, but a strange one for Mudcat. 'In a rut' was one of the punk standards at the start of New Wave in the UK in the late 70's.

It was performed by a band called, unsurprisingly, The Ruts.

However, a few rabble rousers are:-

I'll tell me ma Irish Rover Wild Rover Leaving of Liverpool Star of the County Down Dirty Old Town

But be prepared, you'll get asked to do Danny Boy, or some Daniel O'Donnell.
