OK... I'm a member now... This is a great little forum here. I am a Middle School band director/ general music teacher and I do a lot with folk music in the classroom. The kids love it. I hope to pick up some new tunes and ideas to share here.

Also, I need to learn "If I were Made of Metal" by Patty Larkin for a wedding. I don't get a lot of time to sit down a learn stuff by ear, so I need your help... anyone know it or have the time to get the progression to me?

Hi Forrest, and welcome to the Mudcat.

I can't help you with your request, but I though I'd hop in and suggest that if you want lyrics, chords, etc., you should start a thread with what you're looking for in the name — like: If I Were Made of Metal, chords?

You'll be amazed at the breadth of knowledge about all things musical that you'll find here.
