I have not been to some of them recently, so can't guarantee you'll find anything, but most I think are still a go. Thanks Joe and Kat! That should keep me busy for awhile! Kat, you may recall that when I first signed on to the Mudcat last June I was inquiring about lyrics to an old Scottish song, "Think on Me." One of our friends on the Mudcat replied that it is included on a CD titled, "The Hills of Lorne" by Anne Lorne Gillies. I finally got around to ordering the CD and it is terrific! Unfortunately, I cannot understand all the lyrics on the CD to that song so I am determined to find them somewhere else. It is a beautiful song composed by Alicia Anne (Lady John) Scott who died in 1900.

I did scan the Mudcat database but could find nothing related to sites for Scottish Ballads and songs. Maybe I entered the wrong thing?

Oh, Doug, I meant the actual LINKS page on the Mudcat. Have you been there? Up on the menu bar at the top click on LINKS and let it load. Any member can enter a link there that they want to share. I haven't looked in there, recently, but I would expect there to be some along these lines. That CD sounds really nice. Let us know if you find the words, okay? Oh, and while you are int he links, be sure to visit the Lester Levy one at Johns Hopkins. It is incredible OLD SHEET MUSIC, which you can look at with cover pages and all AND they will send you copies at $3 a pop.

You could also try @Scots or @ballad in the digital tradition. Since these are my favorite areas, we have quite a few.
