Laszlo Slomovitz, the author of this song, is indeed half of Gemini. (I, too, was introduced to them at the Fox Hollow Festival.) Laszlo performs with his identical twin brother Sandor. They are from Ann Arbor, Michigan.

I believe that Laszlo Slomovitz might be half of the duo (two twin brothers) who performed under the name Gemini. I saw them years ago, at the Fox Hollow Festival. I think they were from Chicago.

The song is on Bryan Bowers' album "For You". The insert I have lists the composer as Laszio Slomovitz. There is no other information. I am not familiar with that name.

Good song. It's a fave of mine for late club nights. I don't know who it's originally by, heard a lot of versions, but I can help with the lyrics....

They came out on the dance floor
Their faces were lined with care
She pushed her pocketbook up on her arm
He smoothed down his thinning hair
As they started to dance like old lovers
Who know and cherish each other's grace
And his arms never pushed nor pulled her
And her eyes never left his face

A rock 'n' roll band was playing
The two of them looked so out of place
With no one else over thirty
No one else in an embrace
As they started to dance like old lovers
Who know and cherish each others grace
And his arms never pushed nor pulled her
And her eyes never left his face

There wasn't much more to the story
She whispered something I believe
He smiled and said "yes, yes..."
It looked like they were gonna leave
But then they started to dance like old lovers
Who know and cherish each others grace
And his arms never pushed nor pulled her
And her eyes never left his face
His arms never pushed nor pulled her
And her eyes never left his face

I've heard Brian Bowers sing a song whose lyrics include this refrain: They started to dance like old lovers Who know and cherish each other's grace And his arms never pushed or pull her And her eyes never left his face.

I'm looking for the name, songwriter and complete lyrics. I've searched, but had no positive results. Can anyone help? Thanks!!! Car
