Hello all, I am looking for Info about Stocktons Wing for my radio show.They are from Ireland thats the only thing I know about them. I do have some songs on cd witch is called The Ultimate Tradional Album. So If someone can help?. All the best skarpi Iceland.

Hello Scarpi, Greetings from Iralend. I produced two albums for Stocktons Wing back in the 8)'s, 'Take A Chance' and'Light In The Western Sky' both on the Tara label. They were a Claree-based traditional/contemp. group and enjoyed success in Europe and the US. Is your radio prog on the WWW. They are a great band. saw them live a couple of times at home....... my favourite album is "the crooked rose"

They do this great tune called "Skidoo." Mmm-mm gets me rocking every time. I heard tell that Stockton's Wing has moved into a more country music-sounding style, like Sean Keane.

Skidoo is excellent.. it on the "Stockon's Wing collection"CD... but it sounds even better live....
