Allison

I'm very envious! I'm sure you will enjoy Jeff's concert. We were lucky enough to meet Jeff Davies (twice!) on tour in autumn and now have Jeff Warner to look forward to.

Jeff's first date in England is at the Clarence in Blackpool. Please tell him I'll be delighted to buy him a meal there before his show! I think he'll recognise me when we meet.

Henry

Henryp, I'm lucky to count Jeff Warner as a friend*. I'll be seeing him tomorrow (Friday 2/27/04) in concert, preceded by dinner at a friend's house. The concert's in Walpole NH, highly recommended if you can make it! PM me for details! I'll bet we could get Jeff to sing this song!

Allison

*I'm glad to hear he's going back to England. It's been too long.
All you UK catters should make sure to see him!

I looked up the lyrics for Tom Dooley, and they aren't the same as I remember. The Lyrics in D/T are an explicit rendition of a murder. The Kingston Trio sang a version that I don't remember being explicit, The refrain ended-"Poor boy your going to die..." Does anyone know these lyrics?
