Where are the 'catter profiles?

Subject: Where are the 'catter profiles?

I'm fairly new here. A couple of weeks ago, I found a corner of the Mudcat Cafe where some of the members had personal posts, biographical info, photos etc. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know where this is? Is it now defunct? Thanks, BlueJay

under "quick links" go to BBC's MudCat Resources, then choose the profiles link from there.

bbc maintains them as a courtesy to fellow mudcatterson her own time, and does a wonderful job of it!

And click on Personal Pages at the top - that's where you can store links to any threads you want to hold on to (click trace), and put bookmarks, and archive the messages you've sent and received.

And another neat trick - click on the name at the front of anyone's post (unless they are GUESTs) and you get to see all the previous posts they've ever done. And since everyone else can do that as well, it should keep us from saying things we regret saying later. A bit scarey really:

Hi, BlueJay,

The Mudcat Resources pages started last April, with email & birthday lists for members who want to be included. Now, thanks to the help of my computer-brilliant, almost 18-year old son, we also have photo pages, a locator page, & the profiles, which are mini-homepages. You can get there, as MM said, from the Quick Links at the top right of the Mudcat Discussion Forum page. If you'd like to be included on any of the pages, please read the info at the top of the pages & email me your info. Welcome to Mudcat!

Thanks lot everybody. There's more stuff in there than I realized. Bbc, I'll try to send you some info about myself, maybe a photo. Thanks again for the help. This place, (and of course it's PEOPLE), is incredible.
