If you ever need to know anything about Uncle Charles' whereabouts, definately ask me.
Poor Charles had to suffer through a very painful root canal and at the same time his computer was in the shop. He was supposed to be back on line this weekend. So I am becoming somewhat concerned about him myself.
I miss Charles terribly.

Sweet Bonnie, you were certainly missed but we did have an idea of your whereabouts and generally we do keep tabs on missing members, unlike John Bobbitt who had to rely on police finding his in a field. Did they use dogs? How do you train a dog for that? Come to think of it, I've known a lot of dogs where that ability seems to caome naturally.......

So where is Uncle Charles?

How come no one made such a fuss about me when I was gone from the Mudcat for 3 weeks on holidays?
When I came back from Hawaii the only thing anyone made a big deal about was my tan line.

I do hope we hear from Caitrin again. She is a real sweetie pie who brightens the threads with her lovely personality.

Sometimes, lads, a lady just needs to be 'way for awhile and the calling to her serves only to remind. Now, mind you I've not heard from her, so this is pure speculation on my part, speaking from experience and all, but maybe a little more thread drift and a letting up of the clarion call might be in order for a day or two anyway. Only seven countries you can't get to by ship? You must have a very clever ship Dave. I started counting up countries without sea-coasts and I ran out of fingers - and I hadn't even got round to the former Soviet Union countries, or Africa. Though I suppose there are some big rivers about.

This is obviously thread drift. Inexcusable on my part at a time when there's a crew member overboard.

Anyway, she'll turn up. Methinks she's just away on a bit of a ramble. If the Mudcat Cafe didn't have a great name already, it could be called Rivendell--the last homely home. Can't stay away for too long, god knows some of us have tried. All links lead back, eventually.

I can see your point of view, LEJ...and after the way he treated her, too, always dropping her in the middle of nowhere to make room in the front seat for some ghost girl...

But we're much the poorer for discourse since she's gone MOI (missing on Internet). I really don't want to encourage public speculation on her personal business...but it shure would be nice to hear from her. Maybe we could lay a grammar trap, start a thread full of inappropriate declensions (whatever that might mean) and mixed tenses...nah, we do that all the time.

Caitrin please call...just drop us a line or two.
