Attention Canadian Catters, (and those with any interest in things Canadian):

Last month a new, independent, consumer & advocacy focussed online daily was launched from the unlikely (or likely) location of Killaloe Ontario.

Straight Goods is well, well worth bookmarking. If you've ever wished there was something like Salon, without their stupid rightwing columnists, with a Canadian focus, this is it. Actually its one part Salon, one part Consumer Reports, one part This Magazine--and there's new stuff every day!

Furthermore, there is a musical tie-in. If you remember an old hippie band called the Wilno Express, Ish the publisher of Straight Goods was the fiddler/songwriter. I took lessons from him and played some gigs with him way back when...

Tell everyone who might care about this--it's a very noble venture.

Willie-O

Except for the error 404. And yeah, I remember Wilno Express, but from where? Blue Skies? Summerfolk? Wa-a-a-a-a-y back at the real Mariposa? Oh well, some lifetimes are destined to be a blur.

I'm having the damndest time with BCT's today...not only here either.

Would you believe I've been doing them since 1995? I thought not...but I have. In the brave modern world, I have trouble remembering how much code to use in a particular situation...sheeesh.

That's http://www.straightgoods.com/

and I do know about closing tags, too.

I think...
there I am...
