Back to Barky's 'Original' Challenge here

Down on Barky's farm

Chorus 1...
down on Barky's Farm
down on Barky's Farm
There are sausages on trees and they're swaying in the breeze
down on Barky's Farm

We've got cotton sheep and Nylon sheep and polyester sheep
and they grow the silk pajamas that you wear when you're asleep
and they graze upon the Astroturf that grows by Barky's Creek
down on Barky's Farm

Chorus 2...
down on Barky's Farm
down on Barky's Farm
and there's chickens with three legs laying colored Easter Eggs
down on Barky's Farm

We've got flocks and flocks of variegated porcupines
Some of them grow toothpicks instead of nasty spines
and some of them grow corkscrews for opening your wines
down on Barky's Farm

Chorus 3...
down on Barky's Farm
down on Barky's Farm
To grow donuts we plant rows and rows of Cheerios
down on Barky's Farm

We've a great big herd of pumpkins, some are big and some are small
You really ought to join us for the roundup in the fall
We catch 'em and we brand 'em and we sell 'em from a stall
down on Barky's Farm

Chorus 1... All together now!
Chorus 2... ONE more TIME
Chorus 3...

Cotton was at one point known as "vegetable wool" and I have seen pictures from herbals that basically show the cooton plant as having little minature sheep growing off the branches.

*drat* it may still come, but I've lost my thread of thought.

Woke up this morning with a song running through my head to the tune of "Jelllico Cats"

Scythian lambs come out at night
boll-ward go at dawns first light
Under the moon, they graze....

but it's GONE~~~~

Well, um... Last year, my marching band's field show had Jellicle Ball in it. Um... yeah. Actually, that is true, I have just never seen the show.

The Jellicle Ball ROCKS for band--I have heard it several times done in that manner--Barky, does your band have bass trombones like in the musical? Trombones RULE!
