My nine year old daughter loves to play fiddle music and is searching desperately for Amelia's Waltz. If anyone could point us in the right direction where we can purchase the music, we'd be very grateful.

You can email us at akeller@uvic.ca.

Thank you all.

Arnie

For the "abc challenged", Click here for a choice of sheet music gifs at JC's Tunefinder. Click on the G for sheet music, M to play a sound file.

Arnie (and daughter), welcome to Mudcat!

There are some young people who post here from time to time, themselves. I an sure that you will want to check the site out further yourself before encouraging her to join-- a lot of the content is pretty "mature." But children have been warmly welcomed and have posted under their own memberships, and when they mention their age the threads they start are usually age-appropriate.

Are you a musician as well?

(E-mail sent.)

~Susan

Susan, he posted that in 1996.
There are links to the tune at JC's Tunefinder site here - this includes several different formats: midi, abc, gif being amongst them.

Well, duh - Sorcha already posted the link to JC's Tunefinder, although the thread I linked to has some discussion of the tune and its composer, Bob McQuillen.

Cool! Had they found it yet, or did they still want it?
