so, Ely gives another vote for kelly joe phelps. kelly joe looks great,wadya mean? more than 'okay'. but yup, it's that guitar, and the voice, and the songs, and.....

i asked my hubbie who HE would think that I would say is the sexiest folksinger, and he rhymed off martin simpson, don ross, bruce cockburn, david k, rick fines, and a few others....all good choices! but he forgot kelly joe. well, he knows now.

I've never heard Natalie sing either, but she should. I heard her speaking, and she has a vey cute voice--kind of a Scottish/Canadian accent combo going on. She SHOULD sing!

As for J.Davis, **SIGH** ;-) Women seem to be attracted to either one or the other; it was so nice when they were performing together. I think the sexiest folk singer to me is local and is unkown - I used to really fancy her. So I vote for Anwen Donovan. She also has a superb voice and is an excellent anglo concertina player. I often wonder why she never became a "name" as IMO, she has more than enough musical tallent for that.

Yep, in 1973 I was captured by a wandering gang of Biker Women. I was first traded for a pair of custom valve covers. I think I just care more about the music. Dolores O'Riordan had it right when she used to play with her back to the audience. She wanted people to concentrate on the music, and not what SHE looked like. Anyone can look good, and I believe that the music and how much of yourself you put into it is more important that physical appearance. But hey, that's just me.
